Kyle Carrozza, Cartoon Network Show Creator, Arrested for Child Pornography

Kyle Carrozza, the creator of a Cartoon Network show, has been arrested for possession of child pornography.

Kyle Adam Carrozza, creator of the Cartoon Network series Mighty Magiswords, was booked last month by the Burbank Police Department on two counts of child pornography possession.

Do you have watch Mighty Magiswords? Mighty Magiswords is a comedy-action animation series premiered in 2015 and has two seasons. It is known for its unique animation style and playful storytelling. The series began as a series of shorts and later expanded into a full series on Cartoon Network. Kyle Carrozza created it. A lot of shorts, vlogs, and web/mobile games were made from this show.

Kyle Carrozza has worked on other projects, too. In the SpongeBob movie Sponge Out of Water, Fanboy & Chum Chum, and Animaniacs have contributed to him. He has also been involved in independent animation projects and has contributed to various other shows in smaller capacities.

Kyle Carrozza has been accused under California penal code 311.11(a), which is possession of child pornography, and an enhanced 311.11(c) charge, which is for individuals knowingly in possession of at least 12 videos or 600 images of child pornography.

The offenses can be charged as either a misdemeanor or felony and are punishable by up to one year in county jail—or up to five years in state prison. If convicted of another charge, Carrozza will be required to register as a sex offender with law enforcement agencies.
