Before the final long jump event at the Paris Olympics, Hunter Woodhall shared a heartfelt, beautiful message for his wife, Tara Davis-Woodhall. Lauding his wife for inspiring him daily, Woodhall penned a lengthy Instagram post praising her for being open with her authenticity, struggles, and work ethic.

“Tomorrow, you contend for the Olympic Title. I’m so humbled by you. You have battled through so much just to give yourself a chance. You’ve inspired so many with your authenticity.”  He has said. “Showing it’s okay to struggle, it’s okay to not always be okay. Through everything, you continued to fight for your dream. No one has worked harder. No one has been more disciplined. You inspire me every day to be great. Tomorrow is your moment. Enjoy every bit of it. You are ready.”

Woodhall is a three-time Paralympic medalist, earning bronze and silver medals at the Rio Games in the 200—and 400-meter T44 races and a bronze medal in Tokyo in the 400m T62.

Davis-Woodhall also won a silver medal in the long jump at the 2023 global championships. She also won gold in the 2023 indoor championship, but it was taken away from her after a positive THC test.

The couple is 25 years old and seems to be living happily together.
